Innovative Art Program Features Local Child Artists
When Jefferson Pediatrics moved to our current office location at 1765 Old HiWay 21 in 2002, we wanted to do something special to decorate our waiting room. We partnered with Clyde Hamrick Elementary to provide artwork for the room. Each month theschools sends us beautiful artwork to adorn our walls, with the names of the students responsible for the creation. Some of these pieces are also showcased on the home page of our website.
As a result of this program, every time a patient comes to visit, the chances are likely that the waiting room will look different than the last time.
At the end of the month, the artwork is returned to the school, with a certificate of appreciation from the office, signed by one of the doctors, thanking them for allowing us to use their artwork in our office.
