Do Not Alter Vaccine or Immunization Schedules
We follow the immunization guidelines and schedule recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We strongly recommend against any alteration of that schedule or eliminating any of the immunizations in that schedule.
Because of concern for our patients’ health, our office policy prevents physicians from seeing patients if the guardian refuses to allow us to administer all vaccinations to the patient (other than the flu vaccine). We are always willing to discuss individual concerns regarding vaccine safety and any specific vaccine for a child.
